Christmas is synonymous to family gatherings, treats and typical festive food, and of course holidays jam-packed full of all kinds of activities and entertainment. Christmas Lights, Bus and Train

Departing from Plaza Cibeles every 5 minutes, it  passes through the major streets in Madrid andenables you to see the best of Madrid at Christmas. Alternatively, the historic Christmas train which departs from the Railway Museum is sure to be poopular with the children. The journey on this relic from the 20s lasts an hour, and features theatre performances for the children.

You will find ice-skating rinks along the walkway of the Puente del Rey, Plaza de Callao, Plaza de Luna,  Plaza del Centro Cultural Conde Duque,Plaza de Ciudad Lineal and Plaza Felipe II.

Madrid has a lot to offer during Christmas,  walking around the city you can enjoy the different performances taking place in the street , in the “Cuidad de los niños” and the nativity scenes.
