Things to do with the Kids in Majorca

Bored? Majorca is anything but boring. On the island there are many family friendly activities, so many in fact the kids won’t have time to utter every parent’s least favourite word. Day trips, workshops, beaches, games, and cultural activities just to name a few. To make the most of your holidays here are few suggestions of what to do in Majorca with kids

Jungle Parc MajorcaJungle Parc- A good dose of adventure in a beautiful natural environment which will test the children’s balance and coordination. There are several circuits which combine climbing, obstacles, a zip line and other surprises. The younger children will just love the pirates circuit. Get your adventure gear ready. Ostrich Farm MallorcaArtestruz Mallorca- Have you ever imagined conquering the world whilst riding an ostrich? Maybe you haven’t but your children? At this ostrich farm the kids will be able to discover the habits of these fascinating birds, feed them, go for a ride and get to know the younger members of the ostrich family. Where: Carretera de Cabo Blanco, Km. 40, Campos How Much: €2-€5 Children under 3 free. Ages: Suitable for all ages. 

Puig de Galatzo MallorcaReserva Puig de Galatzo-The Serra de Tramuntana is perfect to explore on foot with children whilst discovering the island’s local flora and fauna. There are many options to explore this natural park including a guided visit, easy for the kids, which ends with a swim in one of the waterholes. There is also a picnic area with a barbeque and activites such as climbing and zip lines are also organised. Where: Reserva Puig de Galatazo. Puigpunyent. How Much: €7-€14 Age: 3 upwards. 

Toy Museum MallorcaToy Museum- A collection of over 7000 toys from all over the World and of every kind imaginable will have your children jumping out of their skin. The kids will love discovering the kinds of  toys their parents and grandparents played with. Workshops are organised. Where: C/ Campana, 7. Palma. How Much: €2.50-€4.50 Age: Suitable for all ages. 

Tourist Train Soller, MallorcaFerrocaril De Sóller-A classic train from the early 1900s linking Palma de Mallorca and Sóller. The journey takes around 40 minutes and stops along the way allowing passengers to take photos of the beautiful natural surroundings. The kids will love the wooden carriages and riding the rails. Katmandu Park MallorcaKatmandú Park- Majorca’s first theme park. Apart from all the fun attractions there is also a 4D cinema showing some pretty cool movies which are sure to capture the kids imagination. They will also relish the challenge of beating their parents in a round of mini-golf. Where: Av Pedro Vaquer Ramis, 9. Magaluf. How Much: €27,80 Adults, €19.80 Children between 3-12. Ages: Suitable for all ages 

Marineland MallorcaMarine Land Mallorca-Boasting the most awarded dolphin show in Spain this marine aquarium has evolved with the times and is firmly committed to environmental education. Watch dolphins perform jumps and tricks several times a day, don’t miss the penguins and sea lion show which is sure to amuse the children no end. Where: C7 Garcilaso de la Vega, 9. Costa d’en Blanes. Calvia. How Much: €8-€24 Ages: Suitable for all ages. 

Of course, speaking of places to go in Majorca with children we can’t forget to mention the famous Drach Caves or the beaches.
