Nightlife in Seville

A Guide to Going Out in Seville

Seville NightlifeSeville has many things and one of them is a vibrant and lively nightlife. And as you can well imagine the night starts at table with some tapas and drinks. As the night advances the action moves into the pub, bars and clubs or even onto the terraces and streets if the weather is good.

There are more than a few zones to go out in Seville. If you want to listen to some Flamenco to start with then head to the Triana or Santa Cruz neighbourhoods where there are tablaos and establishments with live Flamenco shows.

For a night of drinking and dancing, the Alfalfa neighbourhood has lots of bars full of university students. Betis street, one of Seville’s most charismatic, is lined with taverns and pubs many with outside seating and here the crowd is usually a little older. In summer, the Paseo de Colon on the other side of the Guadalquiver River comes alive with bars and outside seating.

In Alameda de Hercules you will find Seville’s alternative crowd enjoying the innumerable number of tapas restaurants, many of which become bars as the night marches on.

Antique Club (Av. Matematicos Rey Pastor y Castro, s/n) – One of the Seville’s most popular nightclubs, it can be found on the Isla de Cartuja. It is über trendy so if you want to get through the doors dress accordingly and leave the old clothes at home.
