Apartment of the week, the Nobel
Autumn is the ideal time of year for visiting Granada and discovering the magic and charm of this old city. In addition to the warm colours and typical seasonal fruits such as chestnuts, persimmon and pomegranate, amongst many other activities and events, in October you will be able to enjoy the Hocus Pocus Magic Festival and the Granada Jazz Festival in November.
And if you’re planning to spend a few days in Granada, what better than stay in an apartment situated in Albaicin? It is one of the most typical and charming areas in Granada. Albaicin was the old Muslim district in Granada and former residence of the kings and court members. Thus, we would like to recommend an apartment in the Albaicin district where you are guaranteed to feel like a king yourself. We are referring to the Nobel apartment, a stunning duplex with a terrace looking out on to the historic streets of this popular Granada neighbourhood, situated opposite the Alhambra.
This duplex has been elegantly decorated in Arab style and comfortably sleeps seven people with space leftover to make you feel right at home.
On the ground floor you will find a living area with a comfortable sofa, individual chairs, a plasma TV complete with DVD player and a spacious dining room. The kitchen and the apartment are fully equipped with all the commodities that you will need during your stay in Granada. On this floor there are also two bedrooms, both with large wardrobes to fit all your luggage and shopping.
On the second floor there is a second living room where you can relax in the afternoon, have a typical mint tea and share your impressions of the city with your travel companions. The living area also leads out to the terrace. It is a multifunctional room as it can also be used as a third bedroom with the two available single beds and a comfortable sofa bed.
If you are travelling as a family or with a group of friends, the Nobel in the Albaicin district is the apartment for you. So, get your suitcase ready and over the next month prepare to be blown away by the narrow streets of the Albaicin district, its magnificent look out points and the typical tapas bars there.
