Staying in Milan
The Venezia holiday rental apartment in Milan wins our prestigious title of apartment of the week.
A holiday in Milan might raise a few eyebrows. With the froth on Italy’s cappuccino often considered to be cities such as Rome, Venice or Florence, Milan is often overlooked. If not its foam, however, Milan is Italy’s espresso shot; a dark, sleek dynamo that flavours all the other accoutrements.
So you can ignore those raised eyebrows and marvel at the city for what it really is. Milan is Italy’s great powerhouse. It is a city with style and energy, and an economy that doesn’t need tourist input to keep functioning. It is a city for Italians, but friendly to outsiders, and to boot it features its fair share of artistic and architectural marvels such as the Cathedral, the Opera House and Da Vinci’s The Last Supper.
Rent a holiday apartment in Milan
If you’re in Milan for business or pleasure, of course, you’ll need to sort out somewhere to stay. And that’s where we’re here (here it comes…) to tell you about our apartment of the week; our hand-picked favourite of this week’s crop of all our holiday apartments to rent in Milan. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we’d like to present the Venezia apartment in Milan.
Whether you’ve been out hitting the tourist sights of Milan, or negotiating in the boardroom, the Venezia holiday rental apartment is a place of respite at the end of the day, where you can come home, kick your shoes off your tired feet, and enjoy the peace and comfort of a home that’s truly yours.
You don’t have to follow the principles of feng shui to see that your accommodation is a relaxing place to stay. Almost brand new (and very shiny), the apartment contains two magnificent, spa-like bathrooms, a large, comfortable sofa-bed and even its own small terrace with mood lighting. Wireless internet and a plasma TV keep you connected to the world, although you might be tempted to switch both off and disconnect completely.
If you do feel like getting back out into the city, however, you’re perfectly positioned to do so. Your short-rental apartment’s location in the “Quadrilatero d’Oro” (golden rectangle) is Milan’s fashion quarter: where all the boutiques are located. It’s also a stone’s throw from many of the city’s greatest attractions: half an hour on foot from the Cathedral, and minutes from the serene, stately public gardens. For those travelling to Milan in small groups, then, you’ll find that there’s enough in the Venezia apartment to satisfy all parties.
