Top short-rental accommodation in Seville
Looking for short-rental apartments in Seville? You’re in luck. It’s that time of the week again where we recommend our favourite holiday flat, and this time the Andalusian capital is the focus of our beady gaze.
Seville is famous for oranges, flamenco and its friendly and outgoing local people. In the heart of Andalusia, it represents all the qualities people normally associate with Spain – good food, a relaxed lifestyle and plenty of sunshine. A great place for both a short holiday and longer stays, Seville is full of historical buildings and typical Andalusian courtyards, lined with fountains and orange trees. Despite having a lot to see, Seville manages to remain its friendly small village feel.
Our apartment of the week this week is not a mansion or a luxury suite. This time we’ve gone for something simple, well-lit, practical, excellently located and offering a great price/quality ratio. Although the Ibarra apartment in Seville may look deceptively normal, it can take an expert to realise that these qualities make it short-stay accommodation gold. A premium apartment definitely has its place – who couldn’t do with an all luxury included stay? – but we recognise that the most important things to make your holiday in Seville go with a swing are comfort, accessibility and a singular group of friends or family.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the singular group friends or family. But the Ibarra housing does contain a terrace (lazy al fresco breakfast or evening glass of sangria, anyone?), spiral staircase and generously sized flat-screen TV with DVD player. Modern rooms include high-quality fittings such as a brushed-steel fridge and blue-and-white-tiled bathroom.
Its location, in the heart of the city’s old quarter, is one of this apartment’s strongest selling points. Chilled-out cafés, tapas bars and the stunning Arabic-influenced architecture that characterises this city all lie just outside your doorstep. All that remains is to step out into the bright sunlight and discover it for yourself…
