Taking place from the 6th to the 22nd of May this interesting but controversial theatre meeting is part of the Berlin Festival held at the Haus de Berliner Festspiele. Its unconventional programming, which has quite often provoked public controversy, makes Theatertreffen the unique theatre event that it is.

Fans of classical music will now be able to enjoy 10 whole days of non-stop music thanks to MaerzMusik in Berlin, that is none other than a music festival taking place from the 18th to the 27th of March. Spectators will get the opportunity to listen to compositions from contemporary artists, including German and international musicians.

From the 10th of September until the 13th of November the Haunch of Venison gallery in Berlin will be hosting a very special exhibition displaying the works of none other than the pioneering Japanese avant –garde artist, musician and film maker Yoko Ono.

The biggest retrospective of Frida Kahlo ever seen in Europe is currently exhibited in the Berlin museum of Martin-Gropius-Bau. This exhibition shows more than 150 paintings and drawings from 45 different private collections from all around the world, including the two most important, from Dolores Olmedo and from Jacques and Natasha Geldman, both Mexican.
