If you would like to discover Barcelona than what better way than from the air, and in the Montjuïc cables car that offer you a stunning panoramic view of the city and Barcelona port. There are two cable cars in Barcelona, one that climbs all the way to the top of Montjuïc hill to the military fort, and the other called Transbordador Aeri del Port, which crosses Barcelona port and stops further down on the hill.

The Teleferic de Montjuïc cable car journey takes approximately 8 minutes each way over a distance of 752 metres, and climbs to a height of 85.5 metres. In addition, the cars run at 10-15 minute intervals and there is room for 19 people in these cabins which offer a great view of the city with a midway stop at the “Mirador del Alcalde” observation deck giving you a great opportunity to admire Barcelona port from the air.

You will be dropped off at Miramar on Montjuic hill where you will discover one of the city’s most impressive green belt areas. Similarly, the castle is very beautiful and there are some amazing views of Barcelona to be captured from all the way up. Why not wander around the Costa I Llobera gardens, make your way to the Miramar look out point, and enjoy a coffee whilst admiring the view from the café overlooking Barcelona port.

The cable car service runs from Sant Sebastiá tower (at La Barceloneta) directly to Montjuïc, with a brief stop at the midway observation deck.
Finally, on the San Sebastiá tower there is an exclusive restaurant called Torre de Alta Mar on the top floor, in case you get hungry after your trip.
