Friday. The time to talk to you about our apartment of the week and start to making plans for a weekend getaway or for summer holidays. Today we are going to the Costa Brava to introduce you to a magnificent country house in Vilopriu, a small medieval village with stone house.
This country house for eight people is an authentic treat for those who want to relax under the Mediterranean sun and avoid the typical tourist crowds common to other areas. This 17th century country house has recently been refurbished and comes with all the modern conveniences from heating, air-conditioning and even a dish washer.
The Comfort I is only 15 minutes by car from the fantastic beaches of l’Escala, the Medes Islands and some of the best golf courses in the area. It is a great place to establish a base if you want to visit the Cap Roig Festival, be close to nature, go kayaking or other aquatic sports, tour the Dalí Triangle or simply relax.
It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a enormous open plan dining room and rustic style kitchen. Absolutely perfect for a light dinner of “pa amb tomàquet” with cheese and typical meat products of the area washed down with a good wine, the perfect time to make plans for the following day.
Another of the strong points of this country house are its exteriors. There is a wide welcoming porch and a garden from which to contemplate the stars before heading off to bed. If you plan to travel in a large group, you can rent apartments Comfort I and Comfort II together thus having space for 15 people.
