44th edition of the Brocanters Trade Fair in Barcelona
If you like antiquities and/or vintage articles and accessories, then head down to the 44th edition of the Brocanters Trade Fair, that located on Paseo de la Diagonal is also offering discounts and lower prices this year in comparison to previous years due to the crisis.
In this year’s edition that you can visit up to the 19th of December, you will find more than 3,500 pieces, although those pieces that do not exceed 40 years old are not as expensive to buy. Thus, you will find items ranging from books, costume jewellery, and antique furniture to toys, and glass items as well as typical antique telephones and gramophones amongst the stalls in the Brocanters Trade Fair.
Not only that, if you like televisions you will be able to enjoy an incredible display with 15 sets from the shop Anamorfosis in Barcelona which shows the initial evolution of this electrical appliance. It’s only a small display however it contains an authentic collection of more than 200 television sets that the owner Francesc Arellano has been collecting and picking up on his travels through diverse parts of Europe and America since the 70s and which could be worth up to 12,000 euros per television set.
In this Brocanters Trade Fair you will also be able to find all kinds of Catalan paintings, as well as a wide range of vintage products and articles, and fashionable items, especially in the way of bags, clothes, and necklaces.
So, now you know, if you fancy getting a vintage gift or simply admiring the small display of antique television sets exhibited, the Brocanters Trade Fair on Paseo de la Diagonal is the perfect thing for you. It will be open until Sunday the 19th of December, and from 11 am until 9 pm everyday.
