Gay Pride Sitges 2010
For the first time, Sitges, one of the main tourist cities on the Mediterranean, is joining the celebration of the Gay Pride Day and will host its own Gay Pride 2010, which will be hold between the 9th and the 13 July, so that we won’t have the need to choose between the Barcelona festival and this one.
The activities will start the 9th July when the city and the Paseo Maritimo will be transformed into a Gay Village to welcome the LBGT community and everyone who fancies passing by this amazing city and join the LGBT movement and festival.
During this celebration, different activities such as parties and concerts are taking place, all of them in different bars and pubs that will count with the most prominent international Djs; additional parties will be as well organised, such as: the Girls Night out or the Bears Sitges Pride Party. In addition to that, we can be witness of the election of the first Mr. Gay Pride Sitges and Miss Drag Queen.
The main activity will take place the 10th July with the Gay Pride parade that will go through the streets of the city and will color the city thanks to the diversity of floats that will complete the tour. The festival will conclude on Sunday evening with a concert that will make all the assistants enjoy this historic event.
