International Comedy Festival 2010
If you feel like a really good laugh, then the International Comedy Festival taking place from the 19th to the 28th of November may be of interest to you. ComedyinSpain is delighted to announce the third edition of Barcelona’s International Comedy Festival, the world’s first multilingual comedy festival featuring shows in 7 different languages.
This is an international event integrated within the best international festival circuits. Thus, you will find some of the best names on the Spanish and world comedy scene in this festival such as Andrew Maxwell (hero of television and comedy) who will make you just roar with laughter, as well as Sean Walsh (currently the best comedian in the United Kingdom), and finally Marcel Lucont.
If you fancy listening to some hilarious comedy in German, you can see Comeditation, the guru of comedy from India and who has his own show on SAT1 on German TV. Do you think that the Swedish don’t have a very good sense of humour? Big mistake! Lasse Nilsen for example is one of the most famous Swedish comedians and will be delighting you with his scathing and satirical political humour.
In this International Comedy Festival there will also be Spanish, Italian and Dutch comedians. The performances will be taking place in different locations in the city such as the Almazen, Cafè Teatre Llantiol, Capitol Sala Pepe Rubianes club, the Colmado, Farenheit, Las Cuevas del Sorte and the Centre Artesà Tradicionarius theatre.
