In the past Jewish visitors had a problem finding kosher food in Barcelona however in recent times this has changed and today there are several restaurants and supermarkets offering the local Jewish community and visitors the opportunity to enjoy delicious Mediterranean and traditional kosher cuisine right in the heart of Barcelona.
Delicias Kosher Restaurant- This Jewish family owned restaurant serves a delicious selection of traditional and modern kosher cuisine in Barcelona. The flavours are heavily influenced by the tastes of Spain, Italy, Morocco and Hungary. Enjoy starters such as Matbuha,Shakshuka or codfish carpaccio with olive paste followed by grilled steak or an assortment of skewers and finish off with a scrumptious dessert of Apple Strudel. This kosher restaurant in Barcelona also has an extensive selection of national and international kosher wines.

Kosher Club Restaurant-Located only minutes awayn from Paseo de Gracia, Kosher Club offers delicious Mediterranean cuisine cooked following the strict rules of kosher. Grablaks, Latkes and Babaganush for starters and follow up with Salmon, Tuna or Bream prepared just the way you like it for main course and finish off with a range of yummy desserts. Isamar Kosher is the only purely kosher supermarket in Barcelona. They have a great selection of kosher meat and grocery products as well as also offering prepared meals such as vegetable, chicken or fish paella, various types of roast meat and salads and a takeaway service. Shalom Kosher Restaurant- This kosher restaurant in Barcelona can be found right on Las Ramblas. The menu is a mixture of traditional Middle Eastern cuisine and the fantastic flavours of Spain such as tapas and paella. There is a take away menu available for Friday and Shabbat. Where: La Rambla, 75. When: Mon-Thurs 12pm-12am, Fri. 12pm-5pm, Sat 8pm-1am, Sun. 12pm-12am.
El Corte Ingles Diagonal- Spain’s largest department store also has a selection of kosher food available which can be found in aisle 13. There is a wide selection of products from Israel at European prices.
Chabad House-There is also the option of Shabbat Dinner at the Chabad House, although you must reserve in advance. A takeaway service is also available but food needs to be ordered two days before and collected from the Chabad House. Where:C/- Joan Gamper, 27. Tel: 934 100685
