Miami Spice restaurant promotion – luxury menus at affordable prices
Miami Spice is one of the leading events on the Miami calendar. For over a decade, this culinary festival has been offering tourists and locals the chance to discover new restaurants in the city. The number of participating restaurants has grown from 27 in the first year to 181 this year.
Miami Spice starts on 1 August 2015 and lasts for a whole two months. During this time, top-class restaurants will be offering special menus designed for all tastes. These menus include three courses (starter, main course and dessert): lunch costs $23 and dinner costs $39. The official website has a full list of all participating restaurants and you can search by type of cuisine and neighbourhood.
Miami Spice gets under way with Iron Fork, a special event organised by the Miami New Times, where you can try a variety of different appetisers from different restaurants. It’s a great option if you fancy getting a taste of what’s on offer before you decide which establishments to visit during the rest of Miami Spice.
Tickets for Iron Fork cost between $45 and $65; depending on how long you leave it the price increases as the event gets closer to its starting date: 30 July 2015. You can buy tickets here.
Tickets grant you admission to the venue between 7 and 10 pm and you can taste as many dishes as you like. You can also enjoy the competition between two of the city’s top chefs: Eileen Andrade from FINKA Table Tap and Dena Marino from MCKitchen. They’ll both get a box of ingredients (and a secret ingredient) from which they have to create an original dish to win over the judges. The winner will be awarded the prestigious Iron Fork. There will also be live shows and entertainment.
Miami Spice is a unique event for discovering the best of Miami’s culinary delights. Don’t miss it!
