An unforgettable line up at Optimus Alive 2013 in Lisbon
In a short time Optimus Alive has become one of Portugal’s major festivals attracting some of the biggest names in the music industry. This trend looks set to continue with this year’s monster line up sure to keep the crowds pumped and enjoying theLisbon Summer nights. Optimus Alive 2013 happens in Lisbon from the 12th, 13th and 14th of July.
This year’s line up features veteran rockers Green Day, Depeche Mode and Kings of Leon being ably supported by young upcoming bands Tame Impala, Two Door Cinema Club, Vampire Weekend, Phoenix and many more international and national acts. Last year’s Optimus Alive attracted a record crowd of more than 154,000 and with a line up of this calibre this record is going to be blown out of the water.
The venue of Optimus Alive 2013 is the same as previous years and features three main stages The Optimus, Heineken and Optimus Clubbing Stages which are going to be the scene of some of the biggest concerts which begin at six in the afternoon and continue non-stop until three in the morning. There are also chill out areas, places to get food and of course areas where you get festival merchandise to impress your friends.
When not at the festival there are a lot of things for festival goers to enjoy in Lisbon from rejuvenating brunches, to visiting the many sights, catching a fado show in the famed Alfama neighbourhood or enjoying some delicious Portuguese pastries.
