No need to get stressed when you visit Paris with Children
Ask any adult to describe Paris and they would probably give you a list like this: fashionable, elegant, sophisticated, cultural and romantic. Ask a child the same question and I think there would only be one answer, BORING. Of course they would find it boring, the poor kids are being dragged around to look at meaningless monuments, at least to them anyway, stare at innumerable paintings and sit silently whilst you sit in a fashionable Parisian café or bistro sipping coffee and watching the world go by. Parc de la Villette- After wandering the sights of Paris reward your kids with a visit to this park. Let the children whizz down the giant Chinese dragon slide or cross the Canal de l’Ourcq using the undulating suspension bridge. There are a myriad of themed gardens for the children to explore, the dune garden, balancing garden and the mirror garden just to name a few. Disneyland Paris-This is an obligatory visit when in Paris with children. All their favourite Disney characters are waiting to greet them at this world famous theme park, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. Wander down Main St. USA before taking the kids on some of the attractions. They are sure to love it and it will be the highlight of their trip just like the visit to the Louvre will be yours. Centre Pompidou- The perfect museum visit for you and your family, whilst you marvel at the Legoland architecture and the works of Picasso, Matisse and many others the children will be perfectly happy to play and learn in the Galerie d’Enfants. Lots of interactive exhibits and activities to keep their inquisitive minds occupied. It is the perfect introduction to the arts on your visit to Paris with kids. Grand Galerie de l’Evolution- A fascinating exhibition sure to enthral both adults and children alike. Housed in the Jardins des Plantes, this exhibition will transport you and your family from the streets of Paris to the African Savannah. Giraffes, zebras, rhinoceros make their way across the museum floor, monkeys and tigers inhabit the glass roofed jungle. Sharks and squid swim suspended from the ceiling, birds inhabit the space higher up.
