Primavera Sound Barcelona 2013, Massive Lineup
Barcelona’s Primavera Sound 2013 lineup confirmed!
The organisers of the popular independent music festival, at a special gala event in Sala Apolo, announced the lineup for this year’s Primavera Sound 2013. Now that we have seen the lineup we can honestly say it is one of the best in the Festival´s history surpassing last year’s Primavera Sound.
Blur, Phoenix, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Postal Service, The Jesus & Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine are the headline acts at Primavera Sound 2013. In total more than 100 groups from the pop, rock and electronic scenes will perform across eight stages over three days in May.
Alberto Guijarro, festival director, said “This year we have to recuperate the magic and sell a little optimism”, and with the line up for Primavera Sound 2013 they have definitely done just that. Last year nearly 150,000 people attended the internationally renowned festival and this year the organisers are hoping to surpass this number.
Apart from the main Primavera Sound festival program, there will be a lot of activities running parallel, from the 22nd to 26th of May music will invade the streets of Barcelona with free concerts, record markets, children’s activities and much more.
Now that the lineup has been announced it is the time to buy your tickets for Primavera Sound 2013 and while you’re at it check out our accommodation close to Parc del Fórum in Diagonal Mar. See you there!
