Theatre in Barcelona this 2010
From the 23rd of September the Poliorama Theatre in Barcelona will once again be showing the successful works of Jordi Galcerán, and directed by Sergi Belbel, the Grönholm method. It premiered in exactly the same place 8 years ago and received the thumbs up from critics and the public alike. This show has gone beyond all borders and has become a national and international success. The 4th season of the works will be starting on the Barcelona stage.
The Grönholm method returns to Barcelona following many years of success, more than 2 million spectators and an enormous tour that has carried this show to 35 countries all over the world. This season, similar to the performance 8 years ago, the following will be starring in the show: Jordi Buixaderas, Lluís Soler, Roser Batalla, and Jordi Díaz.
Jordi Galcerán`s script makes us reflect upon moral boundaries, ambition, envy, and feelings in a show in which the leading characters are put to the test in a long selection process carried out by a leading multinational company choosing a senior executive.
It is a comedy, thus the spectator will be laughing all the way throughout the performance at the ridiculous scenarios, and the embarrassing and rather unconventional situations the characters find themselves in, although in the end the feeling will be more of anxiety before the fierce competition, a characteristic of modern society.
