The Heineken Experience in Amsterdam
Amsterdam, the cradle of Heineken… The Heineken Experience is a space which is dedicated entirely to this prestigious beer brand. It’s not exactly a museum, but more of a total interactive experience, and is situated in the first distillery that the brand used to produce their beer in 1867.
Heineken Experience is a space where, as well as looking, you can touch, smell and (of course) drink beer.
Some people might be surprised that such a small country managed to produce such an internationally famous beer, but the Heineken brand is in fact one of the most often-consumed worldwide. It has factories in more than 70 countries, and is omnipresent: you can even see Heineken adverts on television across the pond.
The most unique characteristic of the Heineken Experience is that during the visit you can experiment with the process of beer brewing. It allows you to discover for yourself the principles which, for 150 years, have been applied to brewing excellent beer: which ingredients are used; which paths bottles take to reach the consumer…
If you want to experiment with what it feels like to be inside the process of beer brewing, thanks to the Heineken experience and 4D cinema you can now find out. Need more reasons to visit Heineken Experience? We don’t think so… but you can check for yourself during your stay in Amsterdam!
