Today, we wanted to propose something different. Most of the time, when you think about the Costa Brava, you think about sunbathing on the beach, eating paella outside next to the sea and clubs full of tourists. The atmosphere of the Costa Brava in winter is very different. The sands of the beaches are deserted, harking back to their savage roots and the fishing villages are once again woken up by the screeching of the gulls.
It’s a perfect time of year to stroll along the footpaths, visit the Mediaeval villages of the Costa Brava, discover Girona’s cultural legacy, try paragliding and other adventure sports, go on a kayak trip, go horse riding or go and see the Dali museum without having to queue for a long time.

The Villa is an authentic farmhouse from the 19th century, which was reformed five years ago. It’s ideal for getting in touch with nature and it just 2 km from the beach. This fabulous construction, surrounded by gardens and fried orchards, contains various ourdoor terraces and porches in which you can enjoy the winter sun and have a drink in the fresh air. It also offers a barbeque and a spectacular swimming pool (if you dare to go for a dip at this time of year, of course…).
