Inaugural Valencia Boat Show
If you like sailing, you can’t miss this event! From the 18th-22nd of April,Valencia hosts for the first time the Valencia Boat Show. This boat show launched with a bottle of champagne as tradition mandates hopes to become a business, recreational and sport reference in the boating sector.
The Valencia Boat Show 2013 will be located in the Real Juan Carlos I Marina and will concentrate the majority of the activities in the well known Veles e Vents building.
The Valencia Boat Show will focus on all aspects of the nautical sector, motor boats, sail boats, navigation accessories, water sports, sailing and sports wear, decoration and all types of articles related with the sector.
But not everything will be exhibits and prestige brands. The Valencia Boat Show will also offer a great number of cultural activities and sports events open to everyone who weishes to participate. There will be workshops, exhibitions, children’s activities, remote controlled boats, sailing competitions and a boat gymkhana.
One of the activities which promises to be the most fun is the flyboard exhibition, a new sport which is causing a frenzy of excitement. The flyboard consists of a water propulsion system connected to a jet ski which allows the user to “fly” 12 metres above the water and do all sorts of tricks.
