A permanent fixture in the Spanish capital and a great option for holiday makers during the hot summer months, the Warner Bros Theme Park comprises a definite stop off during your time in Madrid. The park is divided into 5 themed areas and features some thrilling rides including floorless trains, inverted roller coasters and vertical drops all named after our favourite Warner action heroes and cartoon characters.

Further top attractions include a water attraction with Yogi Bear and his furry sidekick Bubu, and shows worthy of Broadway with Police Academy, Batman begins, and the Music of Bugs Bunny. You can also meet the legendary Silvester and Tweety, visit Bugs Bunny in his rabbit hole, pop-in Daffy Duck’s dressing room and hang out with all the Warner Brother stars.
There is something for everyone is this magical theme park whether you are coming with your family and small children, or visiting with your friends and whether if its the space rockets, Scooby Doo tea cups or Acme river rapid rides that take your fancy.
You can also eat in style in the themed restaurants named after famous locations and fun-loving cartoon personalities such as the Gotham City Grill, the Daily Planet, Porky Pig Dinner, and Cartoon Café that offer a culinary variety to suit all hungry palettes.

Prices: Standard entrance price, adults 39€, juniors 30€, seniors 30€, disabled 20€. Large families, adults 32€, junior 27€. After 4pm, adults 31€, junior/senior 21€, disabled 12€. After 10pm, 10€.
New in for 2011, children less than 1m tall (3ft 2) get in free, and junior tariff applicable to those under 140cm tall (4ft 6).
Directions: Intercity rail, line C3 from Atocha in the direction of Aranjuez. You then change at the Pinto stop and get off at the Parque de Oxio stop.
Bus, Get on the “la Veloz” line 412 at Villaverde interchange that will take you directly to the theme park. By car, get onto the A4 motorway and turn off at exit 22 then just follow the signposts to the theme park.
